Inspired by a dashboard design the user shared.
- App: new palette and fonts, borderless rounded panels with soft shadows, a pink-to-blue
gradient card for your own song (text and controls switch to white on it), flat cards for
friends, a 'Hi Chris, welcome back' header, an outline bell, and a pink pill on the active tab.
- Website: the same look, plus a wide-screen layout with a sidebar, the page in a rounded panel,
and a right column with your profile, recent activity and recent plays. Phones keep the top
bar and bottom tabs.

/privacy and /terms describe what the app actually collects and shows
(public profiles and listening, 50 recent plays, encrypted service tokens,
stripped profile pictures, Android reader scope, song lookups that carry no
identity, 14-day backups, 13+), linked from a web footer, the sign-up
forms and mobile Settings.

"Forgot your password?" on web and mobile sends a one-time link (1 hour)
to the account's email; the website's reset page sets the new password,
signs out every other session and signs in. The request responds the same
whether or not the email has an account, and the email goes out in the
background so timing doesn't reveal it either. Only a hash of the link
token is stored. Sends through SMTP_* settings; without them, emails are
logged (and captured in tests).

spinning live ring, drifting ambient background, gradient buttons with
spring press feedback and haptics, Space Grotesk headings, animated feed
(enter + layout transitions); fix invisible tab labels
- Four-step onboarding for new accounts: which app you listen with (sets
where songs open), the matching share setup, find friends (search,
scan, invite), and a featured song. Skippable; stored server-side
- QR codes: My code (share link) and an in-app scanner (camera only, no
microphone permission)
- Spotify setup via Last.fm or ListenBrainz with guided linking; Android
shares Spotify automatically through the phone reader
- New logo as app icon, adaptive/monochrome icon and splash
- app.config.ts allows cleartext only for local http:// test builds

Native tabs for feed, friend search, profile and settings, with feature
parity with the web app. Sessions are stored in SecureStore, realtime
disconnects in the background, and Spotify/Plex sign-in returns to the app
via the URL scheme.
